Hope Springs is a 2012 American romantic comedy-drama directed by David Frankel, written by Vanessa Taylor and starring Meryl Streep, Tommy Lee Jones, and Steve Carell. The story is based on a couple named Kay and Arnold who are married since a decade, but this longevity have left Kay wanting to spice things up with Arnold.
